This project proposes to correct the deficiencies associated with the slate and asbestos cement roof shingles. The roofs are a part of the Chickamauga Chattanooga Maintenance Complex. The project will require the removal of 37,219 SF asbestos-cement roof shingles and replacement of slate shingles at 10,286 SF. The emphasis of this project will be to eliminate the asbestos hazard the failing fasteners and asbestos shingles, eliminate the slate roofing and replace the complex roofs with GAF three
