Description
The goal of this project is to alter the current trail from mowed grass to paved sidewalk. This loop trail begins between the visitor center and barracks, is 2,640 feet in length, and ends behind the visitor center. Currently, the trail is maintained by park staff mowing the trail at approximately 2 inches high. It is the highest trafficked trail at Camp Nelson National Monument. This project will be undertaken during the late fall or early spring, when the visitation is low
