C-POP Replace Roofs at Gymnasium and Shingled Roof at Exchange (Parent)

SAM 24652638 - Replace roof over multi-purpose gym wing (13,000 Sq. Ft.) at the Gymnasium. RPFN 269 and replace plastic shingled roofs (13,000 Sq. Ft.) on the USCG Exchange with a standing seam metal roof. For Gymnasium: Replace roof over Cybex Gym wing of the Gymnasium. Roof is currently in disrepair and actively leaking. Roof has become a maintenance burden to FE Maintenance staff. TRACEN has attempted for the past several years to have the roof replaced by manufacturer under warranty., The manufacturer, Firestone, initially was receptive but has since ignored our correspondence. Note: In 2011, the roof was installed as a part of a larger project replacing roofs over the pool, basketball court wing and Cybex gym wing. The since 2011, the roofs over the pool and basketball wings what been replaced due to failures either fully or partially by the manufacturer's warranty due to failures. For Exchange: Replace existing plastic shingled roofs. Shingles are recycled plastic and are beginning to warp. Installed circa 2006. Manufacturer no longer in business. Replace with standing seam metal roof.
