The Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Business Operations Division (BOD) provides critical support services to the Product Line (PL) and Shared Service Divisions (SSD) to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a focus on affordable readiness and continuous improvement. The BOD seeks assistance in planning and executing surface fleet logistics integration through operations research, data analytics, data science, data engineering, and project management. Key tasks include developing and implementing inventory management models to optimize stock levels, reduce costs, and improve order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the BOD aims to enhance decision-making through data-driven insights and predictive analytics, leveraging data science models to address specific business challenges.
