Description
BLM Arizona anticipates receiving at least six applications for major transmission lines and pipelines in FY2026. To support the energy emergency and expedited permitting, BLM Arizona seeks to proactively ensure that the utility corridors can accommodate the additional capacity, BLM Arizona proposes to widen the existing utility corridors and designate new utility corridors as needed. This would be accomplished through a land use plan amendment and programmatic environmental impact statement, working with a contractor.
