Mission Critical The Nogales Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest requires an Arivaca Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Safety Closures contract to remediate physical safety hazards for 60 abandoned mine features in southern Arizona near Nogales Santa Cruz County. The purpose of this safety remediation project is to secure these features by methods including polyurethane foam (PUF) closures fences and construction of grates and bat compatible gates and cupolas for the protection of hikers and other visitors on the national forest.
