Description
Contract for the stabilization of NFSR 276 located in the Alpine District of the Apache-Sitgreaves Naitonal Forest. Stabilize surface of Road 276 between Road 37 and Forest 24 through the East Fork Black River Recreation Area (roughly 8.3 miles). Project will improve drainage provide a compacted 4 inch aggregate surface treated with a magnesium chloride/lignin sulfonate blend to minimize runoff into the East Fork Black River which runs alongside the road. Project will also improve the road resilience to occasional flooding and the heavy traffic.
