Description
The ASOS Operations Monitoring Center provides 24/7/365 monitoring of nearly 1,000ASOS sites for the NWS, the FAA, the US Navy, and the US Army. The AOMCexecutes IT technical and administrative activities to support the operation andmaintenance of these sites and of the Local Area Networks (LAN). The AOMCgenerates service/repair work orders, provides help desk support, provides maintenanceand engineering support, assists in the development of IT system architecture, andmonitors and reports data for analysis of trends and current and future weatherforecasting requirements.
