The Aeronautical Information Management Modernization Enhancement 1 program focuses on Airspace Data Tools, replacing the legacy systems for Temporary Flight Restriction Builder (TFR-B), Central Altitude Reservation Function (CARF), and the Special Activity Airspace Creator Editor (SAACE). AIMM E1 is being designed to integrate with the NOTAM Management Service. The requirements developed for this service permit expansion to support new entrants to the NAS such as commercial space users and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) community.
