Description
WIBF Located on the V: Drive CAT2 AE-DBB FY23 Design'FY24 Construction Install perimeter security fencing at two locations at Manchester from existing fencing down to the beach level at low tide. Perimeter security gaps are identified in a NBK Physical Security inspection report dated 23 Mar 22. Perimeter fencing at Manchester Fuel Department falls under D33 MUIC; thus this project will be DLA-E POL SRM funded (reimbursable). Requirements driven by OPNAV Instruction 5530.14E and NBK Instruction 5530.14E, and UFC 4-22-03. AE design services are requested due to need for federal/state permitting and NEPA documentation preparation. Customer (NAVSUP FLCPS) requests FY23 design, FY24 construction. This is an emergent requirement, customer initially notified FOS and NAVFAC NW RPE on 23 May 22. Request high priority given to this project, due to existing perimeter security deficiencies that must be corrected ASAP.
