Project will repave approximately five miles of the Park Loop Road System from mile 0.00 (start of the one-way road network) backwards to the Jordan Pond area of the park (Route 102) per recommendations of Pavement Management System. This road is part of the historic Acadia Park Loop Road System, the most heavily used visitor facility in the park. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), through on-site inspections and analysis, has identified road and parking area surface deficiencies.
