Description
The scope of services includes collaboration with USCG Academy facilities staff and faculty to develop a comprehensive list of Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs) to inform the design of a proposed Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Academic Building. This facility will serve as the cornerstone of the STEM Hub on campus and will encompass approximately 83,000 square feet of technology driven academic space. The selected site is adjacent to Chase Hall along Bear Drive, which is the public face of the USCGA. The selected firm shall be responsible for developing three (3) distinct conceptual designs for the STEM Academic Building. AE professional services are anticipated to include, but not be limited to site work; field investigations; supplemental topographic survey; assessments of existing structures; conceptual design and alternatives evaluation; design; engineering; construction permitting; meetings; the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates; and pre-proposal inquiry (PPI) support.
