Description
The scope of services includes all professional engineering services, materials, equipment, tools, labor, and transportation in support of the recapitalization design for the existing pier, dredging, and a new elevated walkway. A/E professional services are anticipated to include, but not be limited to site work; field investigations; geotechnical investigation; hydrographic survey; topographic survey; utility survey; benthic survey; sediment sampling; assessments of existing structures; conceptual design; design; engineering; construction permitting; meetings; the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates; pre-proposal inquiry (PPI) support; and Construction Contract Support Services (CCSS) and Field Support Services (FSS). The scope of work generally includes pier and floating dock replacement with and supporting maintenance dredging, bulkhead evaluation and repair, and elevated walkway construction to facilitate personnel access to the waterfront during flood conditions.
