Correct FRC shore tie electrical distribution hazards. Resolve base electrical distribution system requirements to provide lasting solution to shore tie infrastructure. Install additional shore ties to support stated operational need of 8 FRCs at Base Los Angeles Long beach. The required repair includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing failed electrical devices and the installation of new shore tie transformers, conduits, cables, and support components. These renovations will address deferred maintenance, prevent further deterioration, increase capacity and capability to support additional FRCs, improve the quality of life for Coast Guard members, and ensure compliance with the current electrical codes and standards.
