FY22/Q2 CAT 2 IH-DB Requirement: Design/Build: Replace the existing HVAC system. Replace air handling units with direct drive variable frequency drive (VFDs) and sealed bearings, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, boilers, chillers, hot and chill water pumps, process water pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume (VAVs), water treatment for chilled and heating water systems, replace piping and all circuit setters, panelboards, motor control units, auxiliary heating coils, monitoring systems, and unit heaters. Install Direct Digital Controls (DDC), associated cabinets and program components. Dispose of old material. Ensure proper system operation. Ensure modifications are made to include the BOSC contract maintenance. Consider existing equipment listed below. Justification: Reliability is degraded. Most equipment has exceeded life expectancy. The current equipment cannot meet the environmental demands required.
