20154640 - United States Border Patrol (USBP) LTE Infrastructure, WAVE and Deployment Training
Type: Forecast • Source ID: F2026073085
Overview
Description
The primary objective is to expand the existing AMO WAVE solution to accommodate an additional 25,000 U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) users and integrate Motorola s SmartConnect (including SmartProgramming, and SmartLocate) into CBP s current conventional ASTRO LMR M3-Core architecture. This integration will account for projected upgrades under the Lifecycle Sustainment Services - System Upgrade Agreement (SUA) Contract and interface with future Inter-RF Sub-System Interface (ISSI) network connections to the Department of Justice (DOJ) Shared Land Mobile Radio (SLMR). The project also includes the implementation of a Motorola WAVE system and SmartConnect (including SmartProgramming, and SmartLocate) within the National Law Enforcement Communications Center (NLECC) lab network for testing and validation.
