Description
The Space Warfighting Analysis program, under the United States Space Force (USSF), aims to enhance the nation's capabilities in space through comprehensive research and development efforts. The primary objective is to conduct capability area analyses and integration, modeling, wargaming, and experimentation to develop operational concepts and force design guidance for both existing and emerging USSF missions. This initiative is crucial for preserving the United States' freedom of action in space, enabling joint force lethality and effectiveness, and providing options for developing capabilities that operate in, from, and to space.

The Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) plays a pivotal role by offering authoritative force design recommendations. It focuses on Multi-Domain Sensing, Spectrum Warfare, and Force Design Integration. These areas align with USSF priorities and involve a disciplined approach to discovering, analyzing, and validating concepts along with the associated family of systems required to meet current and future mission needs. The Multi-Domain Sensing efforts include initiatives like Moving Target Indicator analysis, Missile Warning, Tracking, Defense assessments, and Kill Chain Analysis.

Additionally, the Spectrum Warfare efforts address critical areas such as Space Data Network analysis, Ground Data Network studies, Positioning, Timing, Navigation architecture evaluations, and Force Design Validation. These analyses aim to assess kill chains, commercial services compatibility, ground entry point architecture for space networks, and user equipment coupling between communications systems. Furthermore, the Force Design Integration Office leads joint analytic integration efforts and organizes conferences to ensure comprehensive collaboration across relevant stakeholders.

The Space Warfighting Analysis program seeks to provide analytic insights that inform future capability development programs while addressing emergent civilian pay expenses necessary for managing these initiatives. By evaluating integrated technologies in realistic operating environments through Advanced Component Development & Prototypes (ACD&P), this program supports the USSF's mission priorities effectively.
