Items Less Than $5M for Engineering Support under the Army's Other Procurement budget activity, aims to procure Pier Over Decking System-RAIL (PODS-RAIL) and Family of Power Utility Kits (FoPUK). The procurement includes basic ramps and loading docks to provide portable loading ramp capabilities for military and commercial line haul conveyances. These mobile loading ramps expand present dock capacity in strategic locations without new construction, enabling Speed of Assembly and Freedom of Movement of forces at key movement nodes. Additionally, the FoPUK provides modernized equipment for maintenance, repair, and testing of high voltage power transmission lines and medium voltage power generation, supporting Gap#7 Air & Missile Defense and essential electrical power operations.
