Description
The Robust Infrastructure program under the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) is designed to enhance the nation's cyber defense capabilities. Its primary goal is to deter or defeat strategic threats to U.S. interests and infrastructure while ensuring mission assurance for the Department of Defense's information environment. A key component of this program is the Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP), which provides a secure, managed, and orchestrated environment for executing cyber operations against approved targets.
JCAP aims to support Cyber Mission Forces by enabling them to conduct operations with improved management of detection and attribution. By leveraging existing service access platform programs, JCAP seeks to combine and enhance these baselines into a "Best of Breed" solution. This effort aligns with USCYBERCOM's priorities, focusing on capability improvements that bolster mission readiness and operational effectiveness within the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA).
The Robust Infrastructure program also includes efforts related to Other Cyber Operations Infrastructure. While specific details about these efforts are classified, they are integral to supporting broader cyber operations initiatives. These components are realigned under new project codes for better alignment with evolving project structures and activities.
This program reflects USCYBERCOM's commitment to advancing cyber capabilities through research, development, testing, and evaluation. By focusing on infrastructure enhancements and operational platforms like JCAP, it aims to strengthen national security in the face of complex cyber threats.
