Description
The All Domain Convergence Advanced Technology program is designed to enhance the Army's operational capabilities across multiple domains. It focuses on improving sensor-to-shooter applications by leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize threat recognition, decision-making, and autonomous capabilities. This initiative supports Army experimentation events and aligns with the Department of Defense's Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control objectives. It complements other advanced technology efforts such as Future Vertical Lift, Next Generation Combat Vehicle, and Network C3I.

Within this program, the Collaborative Convergence Advanced Technology Development project integrates critical Project Convergence technologies. It uses adaptive data fusion and task allocation algorithms to support AI decision support agents. The project aims to develop scalable architecture solutions for tactical data management, enhancing mission command in multi-domain operations. Key efforts include demonstrating joint systems integration and analytics for convergence technology integration, which are crucial for optimizing battlefield performance.

Convergence Battlefield Integration focuses on integrating aided target detection, autonomous behaviors, and AI-enabled decision support in Multi-Domain Operations field experiments. This project evaluates operational performance by reducing sensor-to-shooter timelines through integrated technologies on tactical platforms. It also investigates commercial off-the-shelf items to enhance lethality across domains, supporting the Army's modernization strategy.

All Domain Convergence Engineering & Architectures provides essential engineering support for Army modernization priorities by developing mature system architectures. This project enables rapid digital analyses of new technologies before full-scale tests like Project Convergence. It involves creating digital engineering products and conducting independent assessments of technology feasibility and interoperability in an all-domain convergence environment, ensuring alignment with the Army's future objectives for 2030 and 2040.
