Warfare Innovation Management

Warfare Innovation Management includes several projects aimed at advancing the Navy's capabilities in warfare innovation. The Allied/Coalition Maritime Environment (ACME) project under this program focuses on promoting interoperability with allied and coalition forces by facilitating maritime interoperability in processes and communication systems to counter high-end asymmetric threats. The Space & Electronic Warfare (SEW) Engineering project aims to develop, test, and implement Technical Authority products to support naval, joint, and coalition missions across normal, contested, and degraded cyber/operational environments. The MIDS/JTRS project is dedicated to improving the TTNT Terminal Software and Waveform to out-pace threats and provide Internet Protocol-based networking capability on tactical aircraft.

The Fleet Experimentation project aims to advance operational and tactical warfighter capabilities through the experimentation of high payoff initiatives, technologies, and concepts. It focuses on operationalizing the A Design For Maintaining Maritime Superiority Blue Line of Effort through the execution of Fleet Design materiel/non-materiel capability employment. The Trident Warrior Project enables early delivery of capabilities to the warfighter via Fleet-directed Trident Warrior operational events with an emphasis on United States Fleet Forces/Commander Pacific Fleet directed focus areas. These projects collectively aim to enhance the Navy's warfare innovation capabilities and ensure interoperability with allied and coalition forces while advancing operational and tactical warfighter capabilities.
