R&D in Support of DoD Enlistment, Testing and Evaluation

R&D in Support of DOD Enlistment Testing and Evaluation, is aimed at applying research and development efforts to expedite prototype development and mission support for the Department of Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA). The program encompasses various projects such as Identity Credential Management (ICM), Office of People Analytics (OPA) Testing and Assessment, Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), Enterprise Data Services (EDS), Personnel Accountability and Security (PAS), Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), and others. These projects focus on areas such as identity protection, security, entitlements and benefits verification, testing programs for military recruits, voting assistance for Service members and overseas citizens, data analytics, personnel accountability and security systems, and distributed learning technologies. The program aims to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and interoperability of these systems to support the overall readiness and operations of the Department of Defense.

The specific objectives of the program include evaluating and testing emerging technologies to develop more robust and secure capabilities for the Department's Identity Credential Management program. Additionally, it aims to administer testing programs to select highly qualified military recruits through the Office of People Analytics Testing and Assessment Division. The program also focuses on increasing awareness of available voting assistance resources among Active Duty Members through the Federal Voting Assistance Program. Furthermore, it seeks to introduce a streamlined way to provide person-based data as a service and analytics as a service to all of DoD through the Enterprise Data to Decisions Information Environment. The program also aims to evaluate and re-architect personnel accountability and security systems through the Personnel Accountability and Security program. Lastly, it aims to evolve distributed learning systems for training and education within DoD through the Advanced Distributed Learning program.
