Description
International Intelligence Technology and Architectures is a part of the Air Force's Other Procurement budget activity for Electronics and Telecommunications Equipment under Intelligence Programs. The program oversees and manages the United States' component of the multi-national Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES), facilitating intelligence sharing among US, NATO, allied, and coalition forces. The funding supports the procurement of communications and electronic equipment, support equipment, accessories, and specialized equipment to enhance intelligence information sharing across the US BICES/US BICES Extended (US BICES-X) system. This system is designated as the enduring intelligence and information sharing component of the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) for the Department of Defense (DoD), Combat Support Agencies (CSA), and multiple Combatant Commands (CCMD) for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S).

In response to Combatant Command (CCMD) requirements, Program 832050's funding for US BICES/US BICES-X capabilities implements global intelligence sharing arrangements for OUSD(I&S). The funding in FY2024 will support J2 (Joint Intelligence) network requirements to exchange intelligence information with bi-lateral, multi-lateral, and NATO partners. The Mission Partner Capability Office will procure hardware/software/services required to provide system capability improvements such as cross-domain solutions, communications infrastructure, network equipment, storage and backup, encryption equipment, and software licenses necessary to modify US BICES-X capabilities. This program aims to establish capabilities as a core infrastructure and enterprise for the intelligence component of the DoD Mission Partner Environment (MPE) and enhance capabilities for coalition Special Operations Command intelligence sharing capabilities.
