Description
Information Technology Development under the Army's Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) budget activity 2040, aims to support numerous Army Information Technology missions. The program encompasses over 30 programs across 12 Program Elements and involves various agencies such as the Human Resource Command, Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), and United States Army Reserves (USAR). Specific objectives include the modernization of systems like ArmyIgnitED to provide financial management and decision support for soldiers, cadets, and civilians. Additionally, the program focuses on enhancing the Regional Level Application Software (RLAS) used by the USAR for duty attendance, military pay, and training calendar management. The program also includes funding transferred in accordance with Title 15 USC §638 for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) initiatives.
The Army Human Resource System Project (099) within PE 0605013A aims to enhance the capabilities of various systems utilized by the Army for human resource management. This includes the ArmyIgnitED Modernization managed by the Human Resource Command, Commanders Risk Reduction Dashboard managed by Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), and Regional Level Applications Software (RLAS) managed by United States Army Reserves (USAR). The project's specific goals include providing a virtual financial management portal and decision-support tool for soldiers, cadets, and civilians to request tuition assistance, scholarship payments, and professional development funds. Furthermore, it focuses on improving RLAS system capabilities through necessary system development and modifications to meet various Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and audit readiness requirements.
