DoD Enterprise Energy Information Management (EEIM)

Managed by the Office of the Secretary of Defense aims to support the National Defense Strategy by modernizing key capabilities and establishing an unmatched twenty-first century National Security Innovation Base. The program focuses on audit readiness, energy efficiency, real property accountability, and improving data quality and integration across Sustainment business functions. Specifically, it maintains accurate and accessible data for all DoD real property assets through business process re-engineering activities and the development of data standards. Additionally, the program supports radar studies to identify technical mitigation measures necessary to overcome radar degradation from industrial wind turbine development.

The program's objectives include conducting Business Process Re-engineering activities, developing and publishing data standards, and supporting the Assistant Secretary of Defense (ASD) Sustainment Senior Real Property Officer accountability requirements. It also aims to field an enterprise Data Analytics and Integration Support (DAIS) platform coupled with an independent verification and validation capability to provide access to real-time data through Web Services Description Language (WSDL) in support of timely, data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, the program supports radar studies as planned through the Wind Turbine Interference Mitigation Forum to identify technical improvements to radar.
