Demolition Munitions All Types, under the Army's Procurement of Ammunition, has specific goals and objectives. The program aims to support critical Army Title 10 war reserve/operational, training, and test requirements in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 3000.04 and Army Regulation 5-13. This includes supporting individual and collective training of Active and Reserve Component forces at Army schools, home station, and combined training centers. Additionally, the program supports the development, fielding, safety, and quality assurance of Army munitions and equipment throughout their life-cycle. The FY 2024 budget allocation of $24.238 million is intended to procure fifteen variants of Demolitions to meet these objectives.

The specific objectives of the Demolition Munitions program include the procurement of various demolition munitions such as the M17A1 Receiver, Radio Frequency Remote Activation Munition System (RF-RAMS), Charge Demo BLK Comp C-4 1-1/4 LB M112, DEMO KIT Bangalore Torpedo M1A3 (2.5 foot), CHARGE Demo Blk TNT 1/4 lb, CHARGE Demo Blk TNT 1 lb, and other related items. These items are essential for both training and combat purposes. The procurement funding supports annual training and builds a war reserve inventory in accordance with the Army's procurement goals. Additionally, the program aims to provide engineering support for items entering into production to ensure readiness for future needs.
