Description
Comm Elect Mods is a procurement initiative under the Air Force's Other Procurement budget activity, specifically targeting Electronics and Telecommunications Equipment modifications. This program encompasses various elements including North Warning Systems, Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems, National Airspace System, and Tactical Data Networks Enterprise. The primary objective of this program is to address Diminishing Manufacturing Source (DMS) issues and system deficiencies/improvements identified through the Weapon System Review-Executive Council (WSR-EC), policy TO 00-35D-54 Deficiency Reports, and Material Improvement initiatives.
