Wolf conducts engineering design, development and manufacturing oversight according to our ISO 9001:2015 registered Quality Management System. Wolf design engineers have product design expertise in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, biomedical, optical and robotic systems. We can take your ideas from concept through production, or reverse engineer an existing product or re-engineer for cost reduction. We analyze your initial performance criteria, write design specifications, and design for functionality, cost and ease of manufacturing. We can develop applications or embedded software and create prototypes with our in-house machining and 3D printer capabilities. We can also write, design and implement validation and verification tests to deliver a product ready for manufacturing that meets or exceeds performance criteria.

Wolf owns many software platforms for specialized computer simulation including biomechanical simulations, computer-aided design and drafting, and drawing package preparation including SolidWorks 3D CAD software. Wolf has two 3D printers onsite for fabrication of prototypes. An Objet SLA printer is available for high resolution prototypes and a fused deposition printer for durable ABS models. Wolf has a fully capable machine shop that includes a 4-axis CNC mill, CNC lathe, and engine lathe. Wolf has a dedicated electronics lab where electronic circuit boards and components are assembled and where finished electronic and electromechanical assemblies are tested. Wolf has a temperature chamber that is used for component verification during development activities.
