We are a general engineering forestry contractor located in the Sierra Nevada foothills of central California. Our focus is forest fuels reduction for fire prevention. Using a combination of dedicated masticating, tracked heavy equipment and tracked forestry boom machines with masticating heads, excess woody material is mulched into the soil creating space between healthy trees and a more fire resistant landscape. After a 35+ year career with CalFire and more than a decade as a general engineering contractor, we understand fire behavior. Since 1982 our expertise has been vegetation density, ladder fuels, slope, erosion control, soil health, topography and weather as they relate to fire behavior in the Sierra Nevada. Our goal is to responsibly manage our forests and rangelands while preserving nature and creating safer communities. We are woman owned and a California Small Business.
