Originally started in 1984 as a business division within a larger company, Alta was officially established through a corporate reorganization and split off in 2017. Building on our three decades of successful work experience, today we are a team of more than 60 employees. Our professional staff includes engineers, scientists, ecologists, geologists, construction managers, drafters, technicians, database architects, GIS experts, risk assessment experts, and support personnel. Alta's unique experience includes CERCLA projects with 30+ years working at one of the largest superfund sites in the nation (Bunker Hill). The United Nations and the Department of Interior recognized our staff for their commitment to supporting government agencies responding to environmental and engineering challenges.
