Objective
To support eligible organizations in designing, developing, and delivering homeland security preparedness training to first responders and / or citizens. The HSNTP supports objectives delineated in a series of post 9/11 laws, strategy documents, plans, and Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs), including the National Preparedness Guidelines. The Guidelines are an all-hazards vision regarding the Nation’s four core preparedness objectives: to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism and / or catastrophic events.
