Objective
Support State designated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) systems. The Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS) provides legal support, advocacy and information to help you resolve disability employment-related concerns while the Strengthening Protections of Social Security Beneficiaries (SPSSB) or Rep-Payee grant program pays for performance reviews and monitoring of representative payees.

Applicants applying for grant funds are limited to State protection and advocacy systems established pursuant to Part C of Title I of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act.

All individuals within the State who are entitled to SSDI or eligible for SSI benefits based on disability or blindness.
