To support students pursuing a graduate degree in fields with a severe shortage of health professionals, such as epidemiology, environmental health, toxicology, nutrition, biostatistics, and maternal and child health through the provision of tuition, fees, stipends and allowances.

Eligibility for this funding opportunity is limited to the current grantees/awardees receiving funds under this activity code. Eligible applicants must be any school of public health, and/or other public or nonprofit private entities, including faith-based and community-based organizations, accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), and other public or nonprofit private institutions accredited by a body recognized for the purpose of providing specialized training in public health by the Secretary of the Department of Education.
