Objective
The primary purpose of this program is to support the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)’s goals and programmatic strategy. The Peace Corps intends to award multiple cooperative agreements and grants with PEPFAR funding for vital global health programming and training enhancements, including supplemental Volunteer training; funding of additional 2 year Volunteers, Peace Corps Response Volunteers, 3rd year extensions, and staff; and activities benefiting community members such as capacity building and community initiated activities.
