Objective
The Experienced Services Program (ESP) will provide services to the Department of the Interior’s Bureaus and Offices on programs and projects that support the Department’s mission. ESP participants will provide technical assistance and support to DOI Bureaus and Offices in the development and execution of activities that benefit the general public and provide support to DOI employees. The ESP will provide opportunities to qualified individuals 55 years of age and older, who have specific technical skills and abilities not available or underrepresented at current DOI staffing levels. The ESP participants will not replace or displace current DOI employees.

Applicant Eligibility
Private, nonprofit organizations designated by the Secretary of Labor under title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965, which may then recruit and provide enrollees age 55 years or older who qualify for positions based on approved position descriptions provided by the contracting, Federal agency.
Beneficiary Eligibility
Individuals (Americans, age 55 years and older) who qualify for temporary positions, as described in approved position descriptions provided by the contracting, Federal agency. These individuals may include Federal pension recipients.
