Objective
The Tribal HUD-VASH program combines rental assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with supportive services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs to Native American Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Applicant Eligibility
Grant funding under this program is made to Indian tribes and TDHEs that are eligible to receive Indian Housing Block Grant funding under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA).

The primary beneficiaries are Native American Veterans who meet the criteria of NAHASDA and 24 CFR 1000.104.
