Objective
The goal of YHDP is to award approximately $145,000,000 in YHDP under this NOFO, including funding appropriated for fiscal year (FY) 2019 and funding appropriated for FY 2020. ”The FY 2019 Appropriations Act appropriated up to $80 million for HUD to select up to 25 communities, including at least eight communities with substantial rural populations. The FY 2020 Appropriations Act appropriated up to $80 million for HUD to select up to 25 communities with a priority for communities with substantial rural populations in up to eight locations. This NOFO is for the selection of the communities under both the FY 2019 Appropriations Act and the FY 2020 Appropriations Act, for a total of up to 50 communities.
