Objective
The Emergency Livestock Relief Program (ELRP) provides direct financial assistance to livestock producers for losses incurred because of qualifying drought or wildfire in calendar year 2021. The first phase will provide assistance to eligible livestock producers who faced increased supplemental feed costs resulting from forage losses. Additional assistance is being evaluated and may be announced in a later document to be published in the Federal Register.

Applicant Eligibility
Eligible livestock producers for ELRP Phase 1 are producers with an approved 2021 LFP application. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States; resident alien; partnership of U.S. citizens of or resident aliens; corporation, limited liability company, or other organizational structure organized under State law solely owned by U.S. citizens or resident aliens; or Indian Tribe or Tribal organization. Applicants are not subject to an average adjusted gross income limit of $900,000
