CFMO (Building 1707) HVAC Renovation Design EOI

Background
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Army National Guard's Construction and Facilities Management Office, is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified firms to provide professional architectural and engineering design services.

The goal is to develop construction documents for the renovation and replacement of HVAC systems in Building 1707, located at the WV Army National Guard Base (Coonskin Complex) in Charleston, Kanawha County, WV.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide comprehensive architectural and engineering design services, including:

1. Complete design incorporating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines to prepare construction bid documents suitable for state purchasing.
2. Researching existing utilities and providing necessary drawings and specifications as directed by the owner or relevant authorities.
3. Submission of design drawings at various stages (35%, 65%, 95%, and 100%) along with revised cost estimates at each stage.
4. Providing construction bid services and administrative support to the Owner throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded in two phases: Phase 1 for Type A (Investigative Services) and Type B (Design) Services; Phase 2 for Type C (Construction Administration) services will be added via change order once the construction contract is awarded.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Building 1707 located at the WV Army National Guard Base (Coonskin Complex), Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia.
