DSB NRB Caf Renovation

Background
The DSB – NRB Café Renovation project is issued by the Facilities Professional Services (FPS) for the Department of Services for the Blind, State of Washington.

The goal of this contract is to renovate the café facilities to better serve the needs of individuals with visual impairments and enhance overall accessibility.

Work Details
The project involves comprehensive renovation work at the NRB Café, including but not limited to:
- Structural modifications
- Installation of new HVAC systems
- Plumbing updates
- Electrical work
- Aesthetic improvements.

Bidders are required to submit subcontractor listings for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural steel installation, and rebar installation as part of their proposal. Specific forms must be submitted within designated timeframes post-bid submission.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the project's construction schedule following the bid opening on January 7, 2025.

Place of Performance
The renovation work will take place at the Natural Resource Building located at 1111 Washington St. SE, Olympia, WA 98504.
