Background
The Virginia Tech Athletics Department is seeking a qualified partner to facilitate the processing, creation, and delivery of custom, high-quality access badges and parking passes for premium areas at the University. This initiative aims to enhance security and access management during athletic events.

Work Details
The contractor will provide durable, laminate badges with custom graphics and data fields for premium area access at University events, specifically Athletics. The badges must be resistant to chips, breaks, tears, and water. Custom designs must adhere to university brand guidelines with strict color matching.

Security features required include UV ink stamping, embedded holograms, serial numbers, batch numbers, scannable barcodes, and QR codes. Additionally, various customizable parking pass hangtags or badges are needed along with lanyards and plastic sleeves for identification badges. The vendor must ensure secure handling of data fields for credentials and have capabilities for proofing workflows. Fast production times are essential, with a turnaround of three business days or less from order placement and provisions for emergency rush orders within 24-48 hours. Communication between the vendor and the athletics department is crucial to resolve issues quickly.

Period of Performance
The contract will last for one year with options for four additional one-year renewals as negotiated.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Virginia Tech's campus in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register as vendors in the eVA system prior to proposal submission. They are encouraged to utilize SWaM subcontractors if applicable and maintain certification throughout the contract duration. Insurance requirements include worker's compensation, general liability of $2 million, automobile liability of $500,000, among others.
