Chesapeake Public Schools, the seventh largest school district in Virginia, is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured firms to provide special education staffing services. Work Details
The contractor shall provide credentialed professionals for various roles including:
- Speech-Language Pathologist
- Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L)
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA)
- School Psychologist
- Teacher for the Visually Impaired
- Orientation and Mobility Specialist
- Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Sign Language Interpreter (must meet specific qualifications)
- School Based Audiologist
- School Social Worker
- School Nurse (RN)
- Clinic Assistant (LPN/EMT/CNA/MA or other relevant clinical experience)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Offerors are encouraged to propose additional staffing options as needed.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is set to expire on May 30, 2027. It may be extended for four additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement starting June 1, 2027.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Chesapeake Public Schools facilities located in Chesapeake, Virginia.
