R96292- Tents for NSU Senior Toast

Background
The contract is issued by Norfolk State University (NSU) for the provision of tents for the NSU Senior Toast event scheduled on May 7, 2026.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that the university has the necessary equipment to host this significant event, aligning with its mission to provide a supportive environment for student achievements.

Work Details
The contractor will provide tents suitable for outdoor events, including but not limited to:
- Sufficient quantity of tents to accommodate attendees at the NSU Senior Toast.
- Tents must be assembled and set in place, ready for use on the event date.
- All crating and debris from installation must be removed from the premises.
- The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all items are operational and comply with contract specifications and codes.
Any deficiencies must be corrected at the contractor's expense prior to final acceptance of the work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed leading up to and including the event date of May 7, 2026.

Place of Performance
Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Purchasing Manual and applicable laws.
They must also certify that they are not debarred from contracting with the Commonwealth and maintain required insurance coverage during the contract term.
Additionally, bidders should have a drug-free workplace policy in place.
