The City of Springville, Utah, is seeking a contractor to perform road maintenance through the 2026 Cross City Continuous Micro Seal project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the quality and longevity of the city’s roadways by applying micro surfacing techniques as specified in the solicitation documents. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing various services under this contract, including:

4. Furnishing and placing Micro Surfacing Type III over an estimated total area of 4,112,000 square feet, which includes cleaning and preparing the roadway surface, applying prime/tack coat, hauling and placing micro surfacing material, and cleaning up excess materials post-application.
5. Option B includes additional work for Chip Seal application over 500,610 square feet as specified in the Chip Seal Attachment. The contractor must ensure that all existing utilities are protected during operations and that any necessary notifications are made to affected homeowners/business owners prior to work commencement.
Period of Performance
The contract services are expected to commence on or after February 9, 2026, with all work completed by June 30, 2026.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the city limits of Springville, Utah.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including:
- Worker's Compensation Insurance with statutory limits;
- Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance with a minimum limit of $2 million;
- Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with limits not less than $2 million per occurrence and $4 million in aggregate;
Bidders must provide proof of insurance prior to commencing work. Additionally, contractors must be familiar with local regulations regarding traffic control and obtain any necessary permits for construction.
