TxDOT Aviation Division- Notice to Bidders

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division is issuing a solicitation for the construction of airport improvements at Cleburne Regional Airport.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the airport's infrastructure, which is crucial for supporting aviation activities in the region.

Work Details
The construction work includes the following key components:
- Apron Rehabilitation
- Taxiway B Reconstruction
- Taxiway E Demolition.

The Engineer's Estimate of Probable Cost for this project is as follows:
- Base Bid: $3,454,615.00
- Additive Alternate 1: $438,300.00.

Bidders must submit a complete Bid Package that includes a Bid Form, Bid Bond (with Power of Attorney), required language in proposals for AIP contracts, certifications regarding debarment and suspension, Buy American Certification, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and a DBE Participation Plan.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be performed until completion as per the project timeline outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
Cleburne Regional Airport, located at 1650 Airport Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid price.
They are also required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond executed by an authorized surety company in the full amount of the contract price.
Additionally, bidders must comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation requirements and submit relevant forms as part of their bid package.
