Background
The Texas Historical Commission (THC) is seeking a qualified marketing consultant to provide expert technical services and guidance on agency branding, re-messaging, maximizing agency reach, and other communications and marketing services.
The goal of this contract is to enhance THC's visibility and engagement with its target audiences through effective branding and communication strategies.
Work Details
The marketing consultant will collaborate closely with THC leadership to achieve the following objectives:
1. Branding and Re-Messaging: Evaluate the current THC brand and messaging strategies; provide expert guidance on rebranding initiatives; develop and implement a cohesive branding strategy aligned with THC’s goals.
2. Maximizing Agency Reach: Identify target audiences; develop strategies to effectively reach them; recommend tactics to increase THC’s visibility; analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
3. Communications and Marketing Services: Write key messages for various platforms; guide or develop marketing products including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and website updates; conduct focus groups for feedback; participate in meetings with THC leadership as needed.
Deliverables include a comprehensive strategy document, monthly progress reports, developed marketing materials, and summary reports from focus groups.
Period of Performance
The project scope shall be completed within one (1) year of the award, with an expected contract start date of June 9, 2025. Services are estimated to take place between June 9, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the Texas Historical Commission's office located at 311 E 14th St, Austin, TX 78701.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience similar to the type and scope of goods required by this IFB. The selected contractor must be fully insured as per Exhibit X requirements. Additionally, subcontractors must meet the same experience level as required of the primary bidder.
