Electrical Supplies

Background
The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the provision of electrical supplies. The goal of this contract is to ensure that MNPS has access to necessary parts, materials, and equipment for various electrical systems and equipment used within the school district. This includes a wide range of electrical components essential for maintaining and operating school facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide parts, materials, and equipment on an as-needed basis for various electrical needs within MNPS. The supplies include but are not limited to:
- breaker boxes
- switch gears
- motors
- ballasts
- emergency lighting
- exit lighting
- emergency exit lighting
- relays
- contactors
- switches
- generators
and other related electrical components. All goods and services will be requested through purchase orders issued by MNPS.

Period of Performance
The contract term will begin on a date specified in the contract and may extend up to sixty (60) months with written amendment approval from MNPS. Specific performance dates will be outlined in individual purchase orders.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for the performance of this contract is within the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools district.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must maintain all necessary licenses and certifications to perform under this contract. Additionally, contractors must comply with insurance requirements including general liability insurance of at least $1 million, automobile liability insurance if applicable, and workers' compensation insurance as required by Tennessee law. Contractors must also adhere to MNPS's travel procedures for any travel-related expenses incurred during service performance.
