Background
Spartanburg Community College (SCC) is seeking proposals for an Academic Scheduling and Event Management Software Solution to modernize and centralize its scheduling operations. The goal is to implement an accessible, integrated, and scalable scheduling solution that aligns with SCC's academic and operational workflows. This solution aims to improve accuracy and efficiency, strengthen reporting and data-driven decision-making, and ensure long-term security, compliance, and sustainability.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive facilities and event scheduling solution that supports academic, operational, and campus activities. Key requirements include:
- Compliance with higher education standards and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher).
- Support for academic term schedules, room scheduling (classrooms, labs), non-academic event scheduling, and service/resource requests tied to events.
- Integration with Ellucian Colleague for accurate academic data.
- Robust reporting capabilities for academic scheduling and facilities utilization.
- A modern user interface that supports efficient navigation.
- Ongoing technical support to ensure continuous functionality.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin on July 1, 2026, with an estimated end date of June 30, 2031. The initial term is one year with four one-year renewal options for a maximum contract period of five years.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at Spartanburg Community College located at 131 Community College Drive, Spartanburg SC 29303.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must have a state vendor number to submit an offer. They are required to demonstrate experience in implementing similar solutions in higher education institutions. Additionally, the contractor must provide proof of insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability, Auto Liability, and Workers' Compensation as specified in the solicitation.
