CDBG Park Creation at Haverford Road

Background
Ridley Township is issuing a solicitation for the Park Creation project at Haverford Road, funded through the Community Development Block Grant from Delaware County's Office of Housing & Community Development. The goal of this contract is to enhance community infrastructure by creating a park area that includes essential concrete installations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Installation of 150 feet of concrete curb.
- Installation of 600 square feet of concrete sidewalk.
- Related work as specified in the bid documents and construction plans available online via the PennBid Program.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within 10 days of the Owner’s Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 75 calendar days following receipt of this notice. Additionally, all punch list work must be completed within 15 days after receiving the punch list.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Haverford Road, Ridley Township, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with several requirements including:
- Submission of a Contractor Responsibility Certification and a Subcontractor list with their bid.
- Payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price, along with a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
- Compliance with Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon wage rates, and various insurance requirements.
- Contractors must adhere to Section 3 requirements for contracts over $200,000 and ensure that all subcontractors are approved by the Owner.
