Background
The City of Columbus is seeking Right of Way Acquisition Services to support the widening of Sancus Boulevard from 2 lanes to 3 lanes. This project aims to enhance transportation infrastructure by adding a shared use path along the western side and a sidewalk on the eastern side of the roadway. The project will also include new traffic signals, street lighting, and a storm sewer system.

Work Details
The contract includes three separate agreements for Right of Way Acquisition Services:
1) Titles Research and Closings,
2) Appraisal,

It is estimated that there will be approximately 51 parcels requiring acquisition from about 28 owners. All acquisition activities must comply with federal regulations and ODOT policies.
Period of Performance
The anticipated date for authorization to proceed is February/March 2026, with plans expected to be completed within three months from authorization. The right of way is expected to be cleared within fifteen months from the date of authorization.

The work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, specifically along Sancus Boulevard.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified by ODOT in necessary acquisition categories. Only individuals (not firms) are eligible for prequalification for right of way acquisition services. Firms included on the current Federal list of suspended or debarred firms are not eligible for selection.
